The time period between kup gradings is approximately 3 months based on 70% attendance at 2 lessons per week. The time between red belt and black tag is 6 months, with a further 6 months between black tag and black belt. At black belt level the time increases and the higher grade is attained. Dan grade timescales will be in line with those issues by the Kukkiwon
